Blueberry Grunt Cake

Blueberry season is upon us! Spend a wonderful afternoon in the outdoor sunshine and pick your own! Then take your berries and make this quick and easy, tasty dessert for a super summer evening treat or a delicious brunch.

6 T BUTTER OR MARGARINE
1 c FLOUR
1 c SUGAR
2 t BAKING POWDER
3/4 c MILK, SKIM
1 t VANILLA
2 c BLUEBERRIES
1 pn SALT

Melt butter in 12x10x2" baking dish. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Stir in milk and vanilla. Pour over melted butter. Sprinkle blueberries on top. Bake at 375 degrees (350 degrees glass) about 30 minutes until golden brown. For a special treat, serve with whipped cream or frozen yogurt.

Serves 8.
